Acceptance of any sponsorship, gift, or grant is at the discretion of Young Muslims Eire. Young Muslims Eire will not accept any sponsorship unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of Young Muslims Eire.
No irrevocable sponsorship, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the sponsorship would jeopardize the sponsor's financial security.
Young Muslims Eire will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of sponsorships and will encourage sponsors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their sponsorship.
Young Muslims Eire will accept sponsorships in the form of cash, publicly traded securities, or in-kind services, at its discretion.
Certain other sponsorships, such as real property, personal property, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Young Muslims Eire.
Young Muslims Eire will provide acknowledgments to sponsors meeting tax requirements for property received by the organization as a sponsorship. However, except for cash sponsorships and publicly traded securities, no specific value shall be ascribed to any acknowledgment or other form of substantiation of a sponsorship received by Young Muslims Eire.
Young Muslims Eire will respect the intent of the sponsor relating to sponsorships for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous sponsorships, Young Muslims Eire will restrict information about the sponsor to only those staff members with a need to know.
Young Muslims Eire will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a sponsorship or a sponsor to Young Muslims Eire.
